Over the years, Angela has worn many hats for a variety of organizations in Ontario and Yukon including Wilfrid Laurier University, K-W Counselling Services, Beginnings Family Services and as Executive Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Yukon. She has also worked as a freelance writer for parenting magazines, with a focus on adoptive families, and has loved each of her experiences because at the heart of all her work is relationships. Currently, at Boreal Clinic she is the Operations Manager and Floortime Team Lead where she has the privilege to support families and staff to be the best they can be in a moment. The highlight of her work is playing with kids of all ages where she learns so much by entering their world. As a citizen of the Metis Nation of Ontario (Georgian Bay Family Group), she brings a holistic worldview to all her encounters with families and is focused on making every interaction a therapeutic encounter. She is passionate about making meaningful connections between adults and kiddos, and loves nothing more than to watch for the sparkle in the eyes of all her play partners!
