In this workshop, we will cover the relationship between social connection and the development of early communication skills, by introducing attendees to research-based information from the Early Start Denver Model.
Parents and caregivers will gain practical tools for promoting connection and communication in daily routines, and attendees will leave with ideas that they can use at home, at school, and in community settings.
Presented by the Centre for Autism Services Alberta Speech-Language Pathologist Arianna Bailey. This resource was created by the Centre for Autism Services Alberta and draws on research-based information from the Denver Early Start Model. This workshop is intended for parents and care givers of young and very young children to encourage positive outcomes through early engagement.
