Introduction to Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)

This presentation introduces Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) as a way to communicate outside of spoken communication with a particular focus on the neurodiversity perspective.

We will dive into what AAC is, who is a good candidate, AAC and language development, and how one might effectively teach someone to use AAC in their natural environment.
