This presentation will be helpful for parents who are looking for social engagement tips for young children (i.e., Children under 4 years) with a formal or suspected diagnosis of Autism. It will cover the relationship between social connection, and the development of early communication skills, by introducing attendees to research-based information from the Early Start Denver Model. The presentation will focus on practical tips for promoting connection and communication in daily routines, and attendees will leave with ideas that they can use at home, at school, and in community settings.
