Community Consultation Opportunity

As part of our continued conversation with the autism and/or intellectual disability community AIDE Canada is hosting its Fall 2021 round of community feedback sessions.

We are looking for community members to talk with us about the AIDE Canada site and what they would like to see from us in the coming year. We are asking for participants who are willing to meet via video conferencing for about 45 minutes. As compensation for your time you will receive a $25 gift card from Indigo/Chapters.

We are looking for community members who identify as one or more of the following:

  • An autistic self-advocate
  • A parent of a child (including an adult child) with a diagnosis of autism and/or intellectual disability
  • A parent or a self-advocate in the autism community who also identifies as part of the LGBTQ+ community
  • A teacher, social worker, or other service provider who works with the autism and/or intellectual disability community

Space will be limited. We will accept qualified volunteers on a first-come-first-accepted basis. To express your interest please contact Rebecca D’Agnilli at  rdagnilli@aidecanada.ca.  We thank all of our previous focus group participants for their amazing feedback, but we are limiting this session to participants who have not been part of our previous community feedback consultations.
