This workshop will help you plan for the upcoming summer months with your child. Learn how to make the most of summer by supporting leisure activities, home routines, and community access and safety. Attending and participating in this workshop will give you the skills to help your child grow in their interests and independence.

 

You will also learn ways to support safe community participation, whether through accessing structured activities or going to the pool as a family.

Anne Beattie - Registered Occupational Therapist, Manager of Clinical Program Development

Anne Beattie is an occupational therapist (graduate of the University of Alberta class of 2012) and Manager of Clinical Program Development at the Centre for Autism Services Alberta. She has a passion for working with children, youth, and their families, supporting them to lead engaged lives in their homes, schools, and communities. Anne is also an avid camper, mediocre gardener, and busy parent of two children.
